Not Your Daughter’s Yoga – Fall  2021 Session is starting soon!

We will practice on Tuesday mornings, September 7th to December 7th. Class will begin at 10:45, as I would like to slightly lengthen class to one hour and fifteen minutes so that we can have a full hour of movement and then a nice long relaxation. Class ends at 12:00 pm.

FREE YOGA!

As a special “welcome” to everyone, I am hosting a FREE live, in-person yoga class in my back yard on August 31 at 11 a.m. (weather permitting!). Come, roll out your mat, enjoy some sun (fingers crossed) and stick around for some post-class refreshments. I only ask that you self-monitor for any COVID symptoms and refrain from attending if you feel unwell (I am sure you all know the drill by now! And yes, I am fully vaccinated ).  I will provide more details and directions sooner to August 31. Please RSVP!

Injuries or concerns?

Some of you have reached out to me with specific concerns about your personal practice; I will be replying in a direct email to you soon. If you have anything you would like to let me know about or discuss, please just fire an email, or text/call me at 204 573 2010.

 

Dates

Fall 2021 Session – Each Tuesday at 10:45 a.m., September 7 – December 7 (14 weeks) via Zoom. The link will be sent out the evening before class (but it will remain the same link).

 

Course Fee

The first session is on September 7th, 2021 and runs continuously until December 7, 2021.

Full Subscription, 14 weeks: $100 ($7.14 per class)

Drop-in class: $10 each

Late enrolment: remaining classes will be prorated to $7.50 per class if enrolment takes place before October 5th.

Payments can be made with cash, cheque, or e-transfer to rebeccalupton@hotmail.com (204 573 2010).

 

 

Equipment

For this upcoming session, I would like each student to have the following equipment:

  • A yoga mat
  • two blocks
  • A strap
  • A rolled blanket held with a band/belt or a cylindrical bolster or a large throw pillow folded in half

 

Optional:

  • Another blanket available to drape yourself after practice.
  • A water bottle/mug of your favourite bevvy, and a comfy sweater or wrap to cozy up in
  • Resistance bands* (not necessary, but can be really useful if you wish to add a little more strengthening to your practice). You can get them at Canadian tire or A&L cycle. I use these ones.
